With a population of 240 million and an average age of 23, Pakistan is a country with strong growth potential. It is home to the world’s largest ICT freelancer community, with more than 300,000 ICT engineers actively working in the field. In addition, many globally renowned ICT companies have established operations in Pakistan, and the country boasts one of the highest growth rates in ICT export revenues worldwide, increasing its presence in the global ICT market.
In order to gain deeper insight into the current state of business, ICT, and talent acquisition in Pakistan, the Japan–Pakistan Innovation Promotion Institute (JPII) has organized a member-participation delegation currently underway in Pakistan. The program includes visits to key projects such as Capital Smart City.

Dates: Sunday, November 17 – Saturday, November 23, 2024
Location: Lahore and Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan
Capacity: Approximately 15 participants
The itinerary includes visits to approximately three locations per day, such as IT companies, educational institutions, and government organizations.
