JPII Chairman Mr.Katsumata Tomomi participated in today’s event and had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Ukyo Katayama, a renowned Japanese former Formula One racing driver (1992–1997) and motorsport executive.

Inspired by the collaboration between Japanese men’s and women’s cycling teams, JPII expressed its vision to support the formation of a Pakistani women’s cycling team in collaboration with Japanese partners. JPII also aims to organize joint cycling events and training programs in Pakistan, involving Japanese teams, and to establish annual events in both Japan and Pakistan as a platform for sports diplomacy, women empowerment, and long-term international cooperation.

JPII looks forward to working closely with Mr. Katayama, Mr. Katsumata-san, and all stakeholders to turn this vision into a sustainable Japan–Pakistan collaboration.
